Kenkokukinen-no-hi

In Japan, February 11th every year is a national holiday called “Kenkokukinen-no-hi(建国記念の日)”. It’s means “National Foundation Day”.

In fact, the date of the founding of Japan is not certain. However, it is presumed that the first emperor throne on this day in 660 BC. Therefore, the Japanese government decided this day as a holiday.
